Dorothea

Meet Dorothea, a 1930s Dodge Brothers dump truck that we found outside a small town near the Salmon-Challis National Forest in Idaho. Turned a corner, and there she was! Just a classic look that inspires both power and class.

Lola

Meet Lola, a green Ford pickup I shot near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Seashore in Michigan where we spent much of the summer of 2012. As you can tell, Lola has spent some time in the rehab clinic, restoring her youthful figure and magnificent front end. Great curve appeal!

Timber Tina

Check out Timber Tina, a 1940s International log hauler. She is one of 20 full-figured gals with attitude from my Big and Bad gallery. We found this gorgeous hunk of metal in extreme west Montana on Highway 200 about 10 miles east of the Idaho border amidst coal-dark skies and the beginning of a thunderstorm. I got the shot I wanted right before the skies opened.

Fully loaded she appears to me to be tired, but tough, powerful but yet quite feminine. If had a front yard, I’d be proud to have her parked there. What do you think? Comments always welcome, likes are nice, and forwarding to friends appreciated.

Frances

Let me introduce you to Frances, a 1930s Model A from my Bright and Bold portfolio of stylish tootsies with shiny chassis. Jan and I and the Pups found her on a dirt road outside of Tuscaloosa in the Spring of 2012. Isn’t she a beauty! I love the full-figured curves of her fenders, how her paint still shines like the smile on a new bride. What do you think?
